About Us

Founder & Creative Editor
Coloring Unicorn is a small independent site run by Luna Marlowe, a web builder who has doodled in the margins of everything since primary school. The idea behind it is plain. Parents and teachers need a good coloring page in a hurry, and the page should download in one click, print cleanly and cost nothing.
No company sits behind the site. One person plans the collections, looks over the drawings before they go live and answers the messages that arrive through the contact form. Keeping it that small is how the pages stay free, with no accounts, no paywall and no watermark across the art.
How the pages are made
The drawings are made in-house with digital illustration tools and then cleaned up by hand. Each one becomes a vector PDF on a US Letter page with its title and our web address printed along the bottom, so a sheet that ends up on the fridge still says where it came from. Before a design is published it gets a test print. Lines have to be closed, areas have to be big enough for the age the page is aimed at, and the drawing has to stay inside the margins on Letter at actual size and on A4 with Fit to page. Designs that fail are redrawn or dropped.
Every collection page shows the month it was last updated. Collections grow in batches, and the new coloring pages list shows what arrived most recently.
What you will find here
The collections are grouped into animals, fantasy, mindfulness, holidays and cartoon characters. Most galleries mix toddler pages with thick outlines, story scenes for primary-school kids and patterned designs for older children and adults. Each gallery also offers the whole set as one coloring book PDF, and any drawing can be colored on screen in the online coloring studio when no printer is around. The site works in English and in Spanish, and the Spanish pages are written for readers in Spain and Latin America alike.
Who uses the site
Parents, teachers, grandparents, babysitters, speech and occupational therapists, and adults who color to unwind. Printing for home and for a classroom is free (see our licensing policy). If a page prints badly or you would like a theme we do not have yet, write to us through the contact page.
