Privacy Policy
coloringunicorn.com is run independently (see about us). You can browse, download and color online without an account and without telling us who you are. This page lists the little information that is processed, who processes it and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- Server logs: our web server records each request with the IP address, the browser type, the page or file requested and the time. We use them for security and to fix errors. They rotate automatically and are deleted after about two weeks.
- Contact form: when you write to us we store your name, your email address (optional), your message, the site language and your IP address. The IP helps us block spam. We use the rest only to answer you.
- Online coloring: your progress on a drawing is saved in your own browser's local storage, never on our server. When you download a finished picture, the colors you chose are sent to our server to build the file, and the file is deleted as soon as it has been sent to you.
Cloudflare
Cloudflare delivers the site and protects it from attacks, which means it processes technical data such as your IP address. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. Cloudflare may set a short-lived security cookie for this.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages are visited, from which countries and on which kinds of device, and events such as file downloads. We look at these numbers in aggregate and do not use them to identify individual visitors. Google Analytics sets its own cookies (named _ga and similar).
Advertising
Coloring Unicorn is paid for by ads. We use Google AdSense, which is what keeps the coloring pages free for everyone.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or to other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this and/or other sites on the Internet.
- Where the law requires it (for example in the EU, the UK and parts of Latin America), a consent banner asks you first, and you can refuse personalised ads. Refusing does not limit anything on this site.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, refuse third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info, or read how Google uses data from sites that use its services at Google's page on partner sites.
Cookies
We set no cookies of our own. The cookies you may see come from Google AdSense, Google Analytics and Cloudflare. You can delete or block them in your browser settings, and the coloring pages, the downloads and the online studio keep working.
Children
The coloring pages are for children, but the site is meant to be used by the adults who print for them. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you think a child has sent us a message with personal details, contact us and we will delete it.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal data or share it for marketing.
- We do not ask for an account, a newsletter sign-up or an email address before a download.
- Links to YouTube and Pinterest are plain links. Nothing from those services loads until you click.
Your rights
You can ask to see or delete any personal data you sent us, such as a contact message, through the contact page. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to object to processing and to complain to your data protection authority.
